In an official statement, Bhatt expressed her honor to represent Gucci not only in India but on a global stage. She emphasized her admiration for Gucci’s legacy and expressed excitement for the future collaborations and sartorial milestones they would create together.

The Gucci Cruise 2024 show, originally scheduled for May 15, will now take place on May 16 at Seoul’s Gyeongbokgung Palace. The show aims to celebrate Gucci’s 25-year presence in South Korea and commemorate the opening of its inaugural store in Seoul back in 1998. The event will be held in front of Geunjeongjeon, the principal hall of Gyeongbokgung Palace, known for hosting royal ceremonies and welcoming foreign dignitaries during the Joseon Dynasty.

The cruise collection showcased during the show has been crafted by Gucci’s in-house team. It will offer a glimpse into the brand’s creative direction under newly appointed creative director Sabato De Sarno, who will unveil his inaugural designs for the brand in September. Bhatt’s recent appearance at the MET Gala in New York City gained significant attention. Reflecting on her experience, she highlighted the importance of having fun, staying light-hearted, and enjoying the moment. Bhatt’s collaboration with Gucci showcases her rising prominence in the global fashion scene.
